NC-17; 0, -4) The major critics have been raving about this film -- I don't think they saw the same movie I saw. What I saw can only be described as a Mexican porno movie. The movie begins with, and is filled with, scenes of graphic, explicit sexual activity. The actors and actresses were apparently cast not for physical attractiveness but for a willingness to do full frontal nudity. And explicit oral and genital sex are not enough for this supposedly
"artistic" film maker - the two young men are shown lying on their backs naked on twin diving boards over a deserted swimming pool, enthusiastically masturbating to orgasm. But the true low point of the film is their climactic scene of passionate same-sex kissing, which nearly drove this reviewer from the theater.
The Spanish-language film is subtitled, so you can read the unbelievably filthy dialogue for yourself in English (Whoopee?). I freely confess in my pre-Christian college days, I watched a few X-rated "skin flicks" with the
guys. That's EXACTLY what this film is - no more and no less. I don't care what the other
critics say -- anyone who sits through this piece of filth should be ashamed, and so should the booking person at the theater's home office who sent this literally, legally
obscene trash to our town. As an unrated film, it is automatically treated as an NC-17 movie, so that those 17 and under cannot see it under
any circumstances, even with their parents.
Thank God for that - I wish it were NC-117.

Meridian post office is on the National Register of Historic Places. The building is a bit worse for wear, with lots of iron oxide/rust stains in limestone. There are several steps of often broken concrete. The concrete looks like it has been wet a lot. Many structures look moldy. One might wonder why the government has abandoned this historic building.
