Seattle frens! I'm again going to dice merchant at Cutie fest in cap hill! I hope to see you tomorrow!
So Happy Pride yall! Be prideful of yourself, of who you are, who you were, who you will be. be prideful of your identity and be prideful of each and every change in your identity. You did it once. You can do it again if you feel its right to do so.
But I took a deep breath put the applier down and looked at myself and smiled knowing What I am. I am no longer genderfluid. And while I would consider myself just a trans woman, I also feel gender and expression in myself is far more complex than just that one label, or any label.
Genderfluid was so important to me its part of my Avatar coloring both implied and overt. So this hesitation was hard for me. It made me feel tears welling up and feeling like part of me died and felt harder to admit to myself than infact being trans.
I have been a pretty vocal advocate in my queer communities since I self identified myself as genderfluid for alot of the more niche identities and what it means to be a non binary identity both as a concrete identity and a place to be as part of your transition.
My plan obviously was after all my make up was done was to put it on last. Transgender on the left & genderfluid on the right. Except while holding the genderfluid one I hesitated. It didnt feel right. The day before I corrected a co-worker on my pronouns, something to me my fluid self wouldnt do.
A story about Pride. I was preparing for my local Pride parade & event after. I wanted to be extra so I was a little more exposed, a little more make-uped & a little more overtly trans. Before I bought these & at the time I was super excited because genderfluid rep is almost non existent.
Hey Seattle friends! I'm going to be at Cal Anderson park tommorrow (friday) for Cutie Fest selling hand made dice! (as well as some old board games) its from 3-8pm! I hope to see you there!
I've gotten back into FFXIV but I love thinking about my little WOL bard who refuses to accept shes a hero. As an introduction Song would much rather bare witness and write to song other heroes great deeds. Hiding being her face veil in hopes that her actions are seen as secondary at most.
Quote with your flags. a couple things I found is while I am genderfluid, i almost always feel feminine nowadays just comfortable presenting masc usually to. Also while I am bisexual, I am lesbian romantic along with demiromantic.
