I am intrigued by BONE WOMAN by Paige Shelton, a new mystery set in the deserts of Arizona and featuring a young woman who is able to “read” bones and help law enforcement solve crimes. This latest case though, may hit a little too close to home. #ewgc @crookedlanebooks.bsky.social

Just started UPSTATE by Kim van Alkemade and could hardly put it down to go to sleep. A grieving writer decides to buy an abandoned property in upstate New York and bring the old bookstore on the property back to life. Completely absorbing. #ewgc @librarylovefest.bsky.social

A new historical novel from Kate Atkinson is a cause for celebration. Her new one is OUR NOBLE SELVES, set in 1951 in the offices planning the upcoming Festival of Britain. Atkinson brings an oddball cast of characters and her signature wit to this compelling novel. #ewgc @prhlibrary.bsky.social
I loved ETNA by Paul Yoon so much. A dog trained for military duty decides at the end of the war that he wants to return to his home. So beautifully written and emotionally resonant, it made me cry. A lot. I hope this makes the Notable Books list. #ewgc @ssedlib.bsky.social
