We had fruit flies last year, from some shop bought strawberries. I ended up setting a trap for them, similar to this one:
Taken from @mrmarkethomas.bsky.social latest article on UK Debt
We know someone in Thailand, and they advised hanging frozen bottles of water on the fan, this
Omg . . Just been to Blackwell's Bookshop in Oxford It's HUGE www.atlasobscura.com/places/the-n...
Afternoon . . . I was drinking Prosecco before 11 this morning (local Arts Festival). It was tough, but someone had to do it
I've been living off largely solar today. It takes away the pressure of high energy bills - it's heavenly
Octopus installed my solar and batteries. One of the best (free) things that has happened recently, thanks to the Labour Govt
I'd just like to point out, that people like myself, have had free solar & battery storage installed, via the Warm Homes Scheme, fully funded by our Labour Govt. They've invested more in green energy than any previous Govt
I just spent a (rare) couple of nights away from caring, to spend time by this
As I've got older, I've seen a repeated pattern of SLASHED public services funding by the Tories (leading to decimated public services) and societal breakdown, which means, that Labour regularly don't have any choice but to RAISE spending on public services, in order to improve public services
I've only had them a few days (courtesy of a Govt grant via @octopus.energy). I've attached a photo of the Solar Panel document
My new Solar Panels are generating electricity - in November (8.7kwh) I wasn't expecting to have any solar in Winter 😮
Thanks to our forward-thinking, #Labour Government, the Warm Homes Grant Scheme & @octopus.energy, I now have 8 brand new Solar Panels and Battery Storage #ClimateChange
I saw these soft and fluffy Goslings a few years ago. Cuteness personified
@bbowt.bsky.social There's been a massive increase in Marbled Whites in my area. Went for walk at 6.30am this morning and it was brimming with them 🦋
We found a tiny wasps nest in our loft (which we rarely use). It was technically brilliant
I always go to see the Bluebells at Dockey Woods on the Ashridge Estate every year without fail
Just trying out the camera on my new Google Pixel Pro 9 phone, and the shots it can capture, are amazing
