There are 3 mounts available in this month's Trading Post. The Pyrewood Rebel's Rouncey and Gilneas Loyalist's Rouncey (500 Tendies each) are two colours of a brand new Gilnean horse model. The gorgeous Brown-Furred Spiky Bakar is a returning woofer mount for 325 Tendies.

Week 2 of patch 12.0.5 means 3 more mounts are achievable! Unbound Manawyrm is the meta-achieve reward for completing void assaults in both ZA and Eversong. Witherbark Warbear Mother and Void-Corrupted Hex Eagle are guaranteed from special activities in the Broken Throne ritual site.

A Thunder-Ridged Elekk mount, standing in a walkway in Stormwind. The mount is a charcoal elekk with magenta-purple corruption / venation on its tusks and hooves, and matching purple glows in its eyes and as highlights on its dark metal armour.

Finally, we have four unused shreddertank colours from The War Within! Shreddertanks were only ever used for Season 2, so there were a number of colours left over.

A 2x2 montage of four goblin shreddertank colours from The War Within. These are four-legged mechanical walkers/fliers built in crude goblin style with a vaguely spiderlike framework. The front cockpit area has a goblin-like face of metal, with headlights for eyes. The leg joints have saw blades attached. There are smoky copper exhaust pipes emerging from the rear, abdomen-like section.

The colours are (left to right, top to bottom): blue, purple, yellow, green.

'Old God Ray Mount' in 2 colours. I'm uncertain how it's going to be implemented. It's in both retail and classic databases, and just decrypted in the latest Classic. So, maybe a promotional or a 💰mount?

Aprll's Trading Post debuts two new & imaginative mount models! The Arboreal Pseudoshell 'plant-snail', and Vicious Snapvine 'flytrap-vine' can be bought for 400 & 600 Trader's Tender, respectively. Two earlier mounts also return: the Spring Harvesthog for 550 Tendies, and Emerald Snail for 325.

Three mounts are also returning in March: the Pearlescent Butterfly, Ruby Butterfly (700 tendies each), and Shimmermist Free Runner (325 tendies).

Pearlescent Butterfly - a seemingly mechcanical butterfly with opalescent eyes, metallic edging, a gorgeous leadlighting-style wings in a gradation of yellows, oranges, fuchsia and blues with brass edges. It sports a crown on its head with a yellow, magnolia-like flower in it, and has a simple metal spear in its front right leg.

Ruby Butterfly: A similar butterfly mount to the above but with crimson wings and eyes, a metallic dark blue body, and a red flower in its crown.

Shimmermist Free Runner: An Ardenweald dreamrunner mount (a unicorn with an elegantly curved sickle-like horn. It has a white body, shading to purple in its lower legs, purple hair on its legs, tail tip, and a mane of cyan grading to purple at the tips. Its horn has the texture of a rich brown piece of wood.

It's pretty obvious that the new Midnight armoured horse is a faithful update of the original Paladin mount, which dates back to Vanilla. And it's unsurprising that it might be used as an update of that model. What was surprising was that the update was recently swapped in with little fanfare.

The model is a fairly faithful update to the original (which dates back to Vanilla!). In both models the mount is a horse with bright glowing eyes, golden plate barding over much of the head and back of neck with long metal spikes along the ridge, golden metal shields on the shoulders and base of neck, metal coverings over the hooves, and a heavy coat over the body in race colours, with gold detailing.

The Charger (human, top) has an Alliance blue coat. The original has very pale glowing eyes, but the update has an orange-gold glow.

The Thalassian Charger (blood elf, bottom) has a Horde or Blood Elf red coat with an orange eye glow.

Have you completed Turbulent Timeways IV yet? You still have a few weeks (ends 03 Feb). Which mount did/will you pick for your reward? I grabbed the Bronze Corpsefly because I always loved that model! The others can be purchased during SL Timewalking weeks for 5k badges each.

The Feast of Winter Veil is upon us! You have a low chance of obtaining this Rudolph-themed armour set for your Highland Drake from a 'Stolen Present' loot box. This box is awarded by completing the daily quest "You're a Mean One...", given in Orgrimmar and Ironforge.

Actually, there are 5 new mounts added in Remix phase 2. Bonesteed of Bloodshed, Bonesteed of Oblivion, Bonesteed of Plague, Bonesteed of Triumph, Arcberry Manasaber. For some reason our lists say they were added in phases 1 or 4 and I’m not sure I can correct the issue while travelling. Sorry.

The October Trading Post brings three mounts: one the monthly (free!) bonus, one new sale mount, and a returning sale mount. So, if you like to collect mounts and have the previous purchase then there's only one that will cost Tendies this month.

A brown shalehorn mount - kind of a stocky beast in between a stag and a bovine, with a shaggy pale mane yet no fur on its body and a long, corkscrew horn on its forehead. It wears agreen and silver e harness and saddle.

Going back over TWW mounts and I just realised this shalehorn mount model was never used, not even for one of its five colours! I wonder what the original intent for it was.

Collector's Bounty ends in just over a day! I hope you got everything you were hoping for. How did you go? At the start I had 16 possible mounts to try for, and ended up getting 14. The average drop rate for me was quite a bit lower than 5% but I'm still pretty happy with all I got.

I apologise that mount collection updating is currently not working. There were changes to Blizzard's servers over a day ago that required changes on our end. Something isn't quite right yet and I'm still troubleshooting it. I'll have it back as soon as I can.
