I think a few counties are in a similar position and are about to find out. Leicestershire has already appointed its cabinet including a 22yo in charge of adult social care and a 19yo in charge of childrens' services. 🤯
Experienced this a couple of weeks ago with Filbert (pictured below). During his annual health check, I asked the vet about a lump on the elbow of one of his front legs. They recommended a £230 test which, it transpires, often gets contaminated by blood in the sample ...
So, National Trust spends £3.3m renovating Coughton Court and then has to hand it over to the Throckmorton family. Interesting that they took it back immediately after members had shelled out all that money. The family appears to have a long standing reputation for shithousery 🤬
