Playing Coral Island again with the goal of romancing Semeru, who I can't help but think of as Sea Fenris. Still playing ME3 too, but I'm in the sadness porn part of the game (did Thane's memorial last night and bawled my eyes out) and Coral Island is a great counterpoint to the sad. ❤️‍🩹

I played DA: Origins first and started ME full of scepticism due to the chip on my shoulder for how much more merch there was for ME vs Dragon Age at the time. My canon Hero of Ferelden is Elaryn. I named my Shepard Lauren as the modern equivalent. I'm clever like that. 😜 #MassEffect #FemShep

Back in ME2. Did Horizon last night and was miffed as usual, but not for the reason you're thinking. Would it have really cost that much more to write character-specific dialogue? Plus the laziness of a romanced Kaidan/Ash acting almost exactly the same as just a former squad member. (1/2)

And just for shits and giggles, here's Marian through the years. I've gotta figure out how to get her nostrils in Veilguard. 😋

Three character creator portraits of the same woman, Marian Trevelyan. The first shows her in the years leading up to Inquisition, around age 34. She has dark ginger-gold hair pulled up. The second portait shows her at the start of Inquisition, age 38. Her long hair has been cut very short with an undercut and is now grey from the stress of being an Apostate and losing her beloved while on the run. Her eyebrows are less groomed and there's a gap in the left one (visual left, actually her right) where a scar runs through it. A small scar is below that same eye, and another large, jagged scar is on the cheek on that same side. Her nose shows evidence of being broken. The texture of her skin is rough compared to the first portait. The third portait is her during the events of Veilguard, ten years later. She's back to long hair pulled up, though it remains grey, and her scars are different from the first two images due to the limitations of the Veilguard character creator.

Added some late stage headcanon for Marian where she's been carrying the shield of her Templar beloved since escaping the fall of Ostwick with him and then losing him to a fight with rebel Templars a month later. 💔 "My Lover's Phylactery" is the tipping point for her to finally set it down. ❤️‍🩹

Made Sanshee Fenris some romance accessories. No I will not post a closeup of the Amell crest because it looks awful lmao, painted it using toothpicks and eyeshadow after cutting out the foam with a dull utility knife, but at a glance it gives me the little dopamine hit I was after 🥰.

I used to be a hardcore Anders romancer. But then I wrote a little fanfic between him and Hawke after the Chantry explosion that made me engage with how out of character/borderline delusional it was for her to stay with Anders after his betrayal; we've romanced Fenris since. 😅
