I’m not gonna lie, opting out of Mermay this year was the right thing for me. Food is always on my mind so here’s yay ramen! I really need to understand shadow and highlights.

First post of May! - first time since i started drawing that I’m not doing mermay which feels weird, but we’ll see how much I can get done this month. Who knows.

So….still blocked…. I used one of my favorite palettes from and @ellievsbear DTIYS from 2024. I love the way those colors came together and how vibrant they are. So I tend to use parts and pieces of that palette a lot. Anyhoo…here’s to my empty head.

My mind is blank. There’s just nothing there. Crickets. I didn’t even bother shading this one.
