Tonight I will mostly be drinking something beginning with "B" that was sitting at the front of the shelf. Luckily they were absolutely banging drams! #whisky
Some interesting fare tonight. I don't know why I don't drink more Deanston, these two are lovely. The Woodrows is a bit dirty as you would expect but the fruit is still all there. #whisky

This sounds interesting except for the part where its 21 years in first fill oloroso 😳
#blinddrams will mark the end of dry week for me. Usually I feel the need for some preparation. Will a lack of match fitness hinder my razor sharp analysis?

testing Macca alternatives as recommended by YouTube tonight. TL;DR lovely drams but they ain't Macallan. Tamdhu probably the closest but I'd take the Glendronach over all of them. No @distilling-wisdom.com s were harmed during this process & I was grateful for his palate. #whisky
Last nights fare with @distilling-wisdom.com was newer distilleries. The Finn Thomson is an interesting one, quite a meaty peat. #whisky
Fermentorium and Kyro malted ryes being poured by @distilling-wisdom.com tonight. Very different, the Canadian is grainy and like an old grain bin on the nose, the palate is more chocolate, rye bread and dusty grain. The Finnish is sweeter, more herbal and fruitier. #rye

Some more duty free booty in the shape of a Jura. It has promise but needs to open up a bit. @distilling-wisdom.com picked up The Arran at the distillery and it is fully open for business! Cut fruit and slightly smoky. Not peaty, actually smoky. #whisky
