Palate: Caramel sweetness, lemon citrus, ashy smoke with a touch of phenolic iodide, coastal brine, nutty oak and a touch of flinty minerality. Finish: Oak spice, bonfire smoke, lemon zest, maritime brine and a prickle of pepper #RareFindWhisky
Finish: Dried fruit, astringent tannic oak, cinnamon and white pepper #RareFindWhisky
Finish: Long and lingering nutty chocolate and warming ginger gradually evolving into pecan Danish pastries. Really enjoying this one, palate was very good but the finish is fantastic #RareFindWhisky
Appearance: Old gold in colour, forms a thin line which beads before gradually falling as thick, oily legs #RareFindWhisky

4 Palate: Mouthcoating and creamy. Milk chocolate caramel toffee, Neapolitan ice cream, gentle peat smoke, cinnamon and cracked black pepper. Water brings tannic oak and a little more pepper. Finish: Becomes more oaky and astringent, together with cinnamon and black pepper heat #AnnandaleWhisky
3 Palate: Full, oily mouthfeel. Dried fruit, Nocello, and oak spice. Water brings a little more dried fruit in addition to tannic oak. Finish: Long and lingering. Astringent, woody oak, tobacco leaf, cinnamon and clove oil #AnnandaleWhisky

1 Palate: Youthful spirit, vanilla ice cream, Werthers Originals, baked apples, lemon sherberts, mildly astringent oak and chilli heat. With water, more vanilla and apple come through at the expense of a little of the heat #AnnandaleWhisky
28 Palate: Baked pineapple, tropical fruits, tobacco leaf, worn leather, damp earth and a mild note of mocha Finish: More coffee, old nutty oak and damp earth, accompanied with a slight gingery prickle #FettercairnWhisky
Vanguard Palate: Creamy mouthfeel. Pineapple upside down cake, ripe mango, honeyed breakfast cereal, crème brûlée and a touch of apricot jam Finish: Roasted malt, softly drying oak, nutmeg, gentle pepper and cinnamon warmth #FettercairnWhisky
12 Palate: Light on the palate, apricot and nectarine in abundance, with pineapple, honey, vanilla and a little peppery prickle Finish: Sweet, pineapple tropical fruit notes linger together with hints of tobacco leaf and soft spice #FettercairnWhisky

Palate: Mouthcoating and a little prickly. Nutty oak, stewed apples, soft brown sugar, hard herbs particularly lemon thyme, and a touch vegetal. With water, the apple and vegetal notes become more prominent #GlenMorayWhisky

It’s a very nice whisky, but not at that price. It’s a lot cheaper at auction despite the added fees
