Partridge Pea {Chamaecrista fasciculata} and (I think) American Bumblebee…there were loads of bees, large and small, on these plants this morning, creating that satisfying buzzing audio we love. 😌🌿✨🐝

It’s a very wide walkway that’s paved and you’re looking at the pedestrian bridge. The picture I’m attaching is a different bridge in the same greenway, but they are very similar, so you can see what it sort of looks like under all that muddy water.
The greenway flooded as a result of all that heavy rain…It turned into a lake almost all the way to the library!

I searched and searched this morning and finally found one of the adult frogs! Copes Gray Tree Frog 🐸 sitting on a frostweed leaf 🌱
I think I have frog eggs again! Only this time they are mostly on the surface. I think last time they were on plant matter under the water…🤔🐸
Some photos from today…🌱 Penstemon digitalis is looking stunning lately, and the bees adore it. Sylvester, our resident king snake, showed up again today to say hi. And I am finally learning how to harvest phlox seeds. I usually intuitively understand harvesting seeds, but with phlox, I didn’t.
