Reading Alex Storer's well researched and excellent book on the 1995 #DavidBowie album "1.Outside". After I've read it, I shall buy the album! 😁
A few day trips surrounding our 33rd anniversary (on August 4). This one is Newcastle, which, by a strange coincidence, is hosting a Blake's 7 convention. Honest.
Numerous people have asked if Diane Morgan's comedy #AnnDroid is anything to do with my "Anne Droyd". Mine is a children's adventure about a robot schoolgirl. So, no. I am putting the first three books through a fresh edit and working on IV, V and VI to bring my series to and end.
Had a great time watching #TubewayDays perform hits from #GaryNuman's heyday. Christopher Fielding has Gary off to a tee. Especially loved their rendition of "Please Push No More". Other faves included "M.E." and "I Die: You Die".

Great night in Lytham with our favourite folk-pop band The Leisure Society. From L-R: Mike Siddell (violin), Nick Hemming (singer-songwriter, guitar, ukulele), Moi, Carol, and Christian Hardy (keyboard and backing vocal). They were, as always, sublime.
Received Spurious Transients' Remix compilation "Reconstructed Evidence". Blasted it out in the car and it's great! Highly listenable. #indie #krautrock #electronic

Enjoyed the "Valiant" #DoctorWho convention in Sheffield today. It was great to catch up with Alex Storer and Jonathan Lumb. Nice to see actress Lesley Dunlop interviewed, as well as writers Stephen Gallagher and Glen McCoy, and director Graeme Harper. Sadly, I arrived too late to catch Colin Baker.
One for fans of classic #DoctorWho. The location used for the temple on the planet Sarn in the 1984 Peter Davison story "Planet of Fire". It was more the Planet of Intermittent Sunshine when we were there. Earth coordinates Mirador del Río in Lanzarote.

Singer and harpist Hattie Webb, one of "the sublime Webb Sisters" who sang with Leonard Cohen in his final years has released her own album with Leonard's long-time collaborator Roscoe Beck. Can't wait to immerse myself in it.
Been enjoying the latest from Alex Storer's The Light Dreams project. This album, Malverk, puts me in mind of the synthy atmospheres and ambiences of Vangelis, whom I listened to in my youth.
Love this book. The #DoctorWho Exhibition in #Blackpool was as important to me in my youth as was the programme itself. Many thanks to Alex Storer for including me in it.
At The Grand in Clitheroe, the Complete Beatles, although they look *incomplete* here thanks to the dry ice and my position in the audience! 'Paul' and 'John' were quite authentic vocally; all were excellent musicians.
