Here's another wall hanging top that I recently finished. The pattern is called Mod Boxes by Robyn Pickens. I coincidentally had the fabrics used on the pattern. I showed my friend, and her response was "oh." I'm starting to question my quilt choices. Hubby didn't really like my last quilt.🤔

#Quiltsky Here's my latest quilt. It's a free pattern from the Fat Quarter Shop called A Gerden for Hannah. It's huge, 89 x 89. I'll quilt an all-over swirl design.

I'm thinking quilting while I'm piecing, and then everything goes haywire when it's under the needle. Do you have a dedicated sewing room? Bungee and wood clamps from the ceiling will decrease the weight. Not a brag. It works like a charm. You can start with 2 if possible.

#Quiltsky Here's my finished Welcome Spring panel. The background quilting is my feeble attempt at Karlee Porter's graffiti quilting. I'm pleased that the dragonflies turned out so well. I printed them and traced them onto golden threads quilting paper.

After a long snowy winter, this is the damage from what I believe to be mice and voles. These are my Arctic willow shrubs. The back has been gnawed off from the entire row. They were completely encased in snow. Any suggestions to prevent this from happening next winter? I'm not sure they'll recover.

Hearing the machine fire up is the same as ringing the dinner bell. They suddenly become needy and require immediate attention. 🤣🤣🤣 No matter which station I'm using, the bed must be moved as close as possible. If it's a small quilt, the bed fits nicely on the table. He's my little cat dog.

Spring is near...the redpolls are here! I hope a few stay.

#Quiltsky For those of you considering the Barn Star Sampler quilt, it's not for the faint of heart. I have 2 more 24" blocks left. It's bigger than my design wall. The way it's pieced, you end up with a million HSTs. It's been a year and a half in the piecing. Ugh.

Here's half the snow off the rooftop. The squirrels are nose level with the bird feeder. I guess it will have to be taken in. Don't feel bad. They're well fed in the backyard.

🤣🤣🤣🤣 This is a mushroom I found. The ooze and offensive smell attracts insects. It just seems fitting.

Things on a time limit add stress to my brain. I did the Aloha 50 mystery quilt, and it was a weekly process that you really needed to keep up with. I managed to get it done on time and quilted a couple of weeks later. I found it stressful, but that's just me. Moda promotes them in many quilt shops.

#Quiltsky This simple quilt was quickly pieced. The quilting is atrocious. No matter what I did, I couldn't get the tension perfect. I was too far in to rip out. Sometimes, you just have to keep going and live with results. I'm disappointed, but there will be a redemption quilt.

Fergus sleeps on Jack well because I move too much. Old habits die hard.🤣 Sounds like class is awesome. You enjoy it and are doing well. That's all you can ask for. We have a cottontail that's shown up the last few months. He came up to the window, so Jack went out to feed. Now, he has us trained.

Glad to be helpful. This is our feeding system. It's really high to keep the bear off. It also works for the squirrels and raccoons.

You speak to him? EEEWWW. He has to learn for himself. He voted for this. The decomposing imbecile told us. Stupidity is not an excuse. Thank goodness my only close neighbors are the forest creatures.

This is what you need, if you have dedicated space. Lift that drag somehow. It'll save your neck and shoulders.

Did you see the black red gray and white quilt? She did a gorgeous mystery last year, and people complained. So, this year, she did a round a month. Apr-Sept. I struggled with parts of it. You must have a perfect 1/4".
