Been experimenting with bookbinding and have just finished a hardbound version of @thomasbrandstetter.bsky.social Torpedoes & Tides wargame rules, published by Ganesha Games. Final book is a bit rough in some details but thoroughly functional.

Four MDF paint racks from Warbases filling up with dropper bottles. Paint brushes and tools in the black desk organizer in the centre. One little portable rack for paints I'm currently using.
I had things to do this Caturday evening. Instead I am being cat furniture.

So, popped a selective drybrush of Reaper Ghost White over these dead folks and am definitely happier with the result. Also textured the ground and painted it, including a bit of spectral OSL in the Dungeon Slime bright green.
Happy with how these mixed converted figures are shaping up as ghosts and spectres, but I feel like the painting needs something extra to make them pop. White drybrush maybe? Other suggestions? #miniatures #nerdlings #wargaming

Is the circle drawn in blood? Is it a warding circle... or a summoning circle? Do you feel lucky, adventurer? (Just finished this five minutes ago, nice fast slightly rough paint job to stop me overthinking it...)
Map labels have been updated. We're the Wargaming Tablelands now, a fun bit of wordplay. Pretty sure the bigger group on the left is "talks about GW/40k/etc" and the smaller lobe to the right is "doesn't really talk about GW" but that's speculation and rummaging for familiar names in both parts...

These guys are very WIP but fit the theme. Warlord plastic landskneckt being greenstuffed into spectres, and a skull thing mostly from GW skullz. Turns out that flame is pretty easy to sculpt in greenstuff. Also have a sprue of random Romans that'll get the same treatment eventually.
Crossing fingers. Rescue pets are best pets, even if this one does like chewing on my knuckles slightly too much.
It is #Caturday. Let us celebrate rescue cats being gloriously comfy and sleek and knowing they shall never want for food or comfort again in this life. Furthermore, ICE must be destroyed and fascists should be cast out from society.
I appear to be back on a 1/1200 naval kick. Got some small harbour scenery bits almost finished, new batch of ships just getting painted, and two new sets of rules to look forward to with a copy of Snorkers, Good Oh enroute and new coastal boat rules probably coming in February.
The cat has her own supervisory cubicle on the floor next to my chair. It even got a bit of seasonal decoration.
