Sam Neill - a great actor, and so very insightful and intelligent, too. Used to love following him on the old platform. I think The Omen 3 is where I first saw him (when I was far too young to see such things) and he was so good. Delightful in all kinds of roles.
Smashing morning at The BIPC Women's Networking event at the Guildhall Northampton
In Milton Keynes for a meeting. I love these flowering plants. It looks like a curious peacock is peeking over my shoulder.
Good morning! On the stall today we have Little Grey Men by BB. It's a delightful gnomish tale.
I've got an update for Iridescence panels. Now with added book launches!
Join me for a game of dashing hither and thither on Easter Sunday like the craziest of bunnies at Irridescence, Eastercon!

People have been rather lovely and nominated Vivid Worlds and Hiding Under the Leaves and some of the stories therein for the BSFA Awards. www.bsfa.co.uk/bsfa-awards-... Thank you! Please do get behind Vivid Worlds, which is full of excellent climate-focused science fiction. It would make my year!
Thank you! There is a more recent volume, BOBSF 23, but there is no 2024 - we took a break. This Easter we will launch Best of British Science Fiction 2025, and I just decided the ToC. Not even the authors know yet! For a more recent science fiction anthology edited by me, check out Vivid Worlds.
