🏳️⚧️ #LGBwiththeT 🏳️🌈 LGBTQIA+ 🏆 Award-winning news service established in 2002 as HPANA to cover Harry Potter, now reporting on the demise of JK Rowling's legacy.
Nothing to see here, just Harry Potter (children's) author JK Rowling responding positively to accused rapist and human trafficker Tristan Tate in 2024, when he said "Keep your chin up JK" in a transphobic reply to the abusive bigot.
"Transgender blood on the hands of J.K. Rowling..." For those unaware, this was done in 2020 in Edinburgh, Scotland, to the Harry Potter author's handprints cast in cement there:
Here's video of the 'Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry' ride breaking down, with a sharp drop that surprises and worries passengers in the clip. (To our knowledge this is not the same instance Universal is being sued over; this is for illustrative purposes.)
Twin brothers sue Universal after 'Harry Potter' ride injuries at Epic Universe

As we warned in 2022: "There's no point to being a JK Rowling [or Harry Potter] fan. Everything she releases from now on will be spoiled, so it's gonna suck. Forever. (We promise.)"
Rowling has not disavowed or condemned this bigot or her. In fact, by 2023, the Harry Potter author was publicly pledging to support the known racist transphobe's antics financially and legally:
Five years ago we asked Harry Potter author JK Rowling when she plans on disavowing and condemning a known racist transphobe who has, in the years since, attracted neo-Nazis performing actual "Sieg Heil" salutes in support of her bigotry.
Harry Potter director Chris Columbus says another reunion is "impossible" because of JK Rowling's incessant bigotry. "Everyone in the cast has their own opinion," the filmmaker says, "which is different from her opinion."
Here's video of the Tom Felton interview where he refused to disavow JK Rowling's bigotry. Since then the Draco Malfoy actor has made numerous paid promotional appearances for the Harry Potter franchise & will reprise his role in Rowling's stage play:
"I’ve left the ‘Potterverse’ firmly in the past after JK Rowling’s offensive comments on transgender people and think the entire franchise needs to be forgotten about." ✅
"... the billionaire appeared to have a literal black eye as he made his departure from the White House."
The U.S. Supreme Court rejected an appeal this week from a Massachusetts middle school student who was barred from wearing a t-shirt proclaiming there are only two genders.
Especially concerning is that Harry Potter author JK Rowling apparently has no qualms attacking children herself. After Rowling shared a post from far-right publication Reduxx to millions of followers, which included video of children in the school's bathroom: 🔗 www.nydailynews.com/2024/05/15/t...
Here's the full judgment against JK Rowling's UK production company Bronte Film & TV (the same one she's using for the Harry Potter TV show), for violating the civil rights of a pregnant woman: 🔗 assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/media/61096a...
Imagine the creator of Harry Potter, with all the movies and their special effects known worldwide for 10+ years at that point, having her production company claim to a UK judge that they couldn't possibly figure out how to hide a pregnant actress's baby bulge with special effects (or otherwise).
When Harry Potter (and Cormoran Strike) author JK Rowling could have supported a pregnant woman on her own TV show, she chose not step in. The pregnant actress brought a discrimination claim against JK Rowling's production for violating her rights under the Equality Act, and won.
Beyond her UK Supreme Court case financing, JK Rowling has funded a restrictive and controversial rape crisis center in Scotland that explicitly exclude trans women, and has consistently used her platform to promote harmful rhetoric and bullying against minorities. (4/4)
Universal's partnership with Rowling is lucrative. Financial reports indicate "double-digit" millions every year in royalties and fees to the Harry Potter author, sustaining her personal wealth. This wealth then directly funds her anti-LGBTQIA+ activism. #EpicUniverse (3/4)
Last month, Rowling celebrated a UK Supreme Court ruling that stripped protections from trans women, calling it "TERF VE Day" (comparing it to triumph over Nazis). She gave $93,000 to support the case, and posted herself drinking & smoking on her yacht to glorify the outcome. (2/4)
This week marks the grand opening of Universal's Epic Universe expansion in Florida. "The Wizarding World of Harry Potter - Ministry of Magic" continues a sad legacy of financially supporting JK Rowling, who has become internationally known for anti-LGBTQIA+ bigotry. (1/4)

You can see these embarrassing details for yourself in the Warner Bros. Discovery 2025 Proxy Statement available online: ir.corporate.discovery.com/financials/a... There are tracked changes in the published appendices and maybe elsewhere.
Can't believe this is real... We live rent free in the heads of international politicians, billionaire bigots, and their sycophants. Our mission to draw attention to Harry Potter author JK Rowling's bigotry and the support she has fostered for it continues to be a huge success.
