Opponent 4 got banned for a fair play violation while I was playing them… 2300 achieved…
Casual OTB blitz game, I played Black - my opponent went 1.Rxd7 so I just snapped off the queen. What happened next?
Currently a bit below my normal rating, but doing some catching up!

Game 2 as Black - a bit messier, thought I had chances to trap the White queen but it never quite worked. Opponent made the last error in some time trouble, always harder to play rapid chess from a cramped position.
Game 1 as White - pretty good apart from not playing the mate in 1 on the final move!
End-of-season silverware in a friendly match against our local rivals - I won 2-0 against a 2000 on board 1 and the rest of the team won fairly handily.
On the other other hand this is actually good (in my opinion)

I don’t think I have many (if any) local followers but just in case - this is the more “sporty” hobby I have - we’re looking for new recruits!
Won a friendly poker game last night - my winnings from the evening were £30 plus €10 plus a large Coke. Got dealt pocket aces two hands in a row which I think is about a 1 in 50,000 chance!
