I’ve always loved the way R* presented Manhunt with the manual being done in the style of a video mail order catalogue. The game already feels seedy but the way R* maintains kayfabe even with the instruction manual really sells the illusion that you’ve stumbled across something you shouldn’t have.

My unpopular opinion for today is that Doggett is a better agent than Mulder. Doggett will actively attempt to rule out all possibilities before accepting the weird stuff going on, whereas Mulder jumps immediately to the weird stuff and just happens to be right because that’s the show.
