Diary of a cat servant: On the agenda today is being outside when the AusAlert test is done at 2pm AEST. If you have a sleeping cat or a nervous cat they will appreciate not being freaked out by the alarm sound.

Diary of a cat servant: Ella somehow knows through her body clock when I am about to finish work. She then collects me to go for a #Hedgewatch WILDLIFE shift that just happens to give her some time in the late in a winter's day sun. Smart girl.
Today's #FlashbackFriday is to late summer when Ella snuggling with me wasn't done out of a need to stay warm.
It is one year today since I had to farewell my fabulous feral Blarg. He was in my life for a decade and I miss him. Ella and I still look for him when we are out at night even though we know better. I am grateful he spent his last months here full time.
Awww thanks, HQ. It really is mainly white fur which is kind of helpful as I have a cream lounge suite. 😆
Diary of a cat servant: This is less a #KittyLoafMonday and more of a brioche bun but it does show Ella's undercoat in various spots. Only the very tips of her black fur is black. The rest is white. #Hedgewatch DUVET shift.

Diary of a cat servant: It is rare that Ella and I get to have a snuggle on a weekday afternoon but it is my birthday and this is a lovely part of it. There was also another celebration but there was less fur involved in that. 😁

Diary of a cat servant: Winter #Hedgewatch WILDLIFE shifts in the sun are rare unless I decide to take a longer lunch so Ella can soak up a sun puddle. Sometimes she gets lucky.
