Here she is reading in a canoe on a sand bar about an hour north of Ogunquit.

Perfect was an understatement.

It is a perfect summer morning in Maine. Just absolutely perfect. We're going to get in that canoe over there and paddle across to our little low tide sand bar beach on the other side.

We went to the Maine Maritime Museum today and happened to run into the Declaration of Independence.

I know the air quality was rough in some places yesterday, but it did make the Salem Witch Museum look really cool.

Me: Biking home, wondering how the Cubs did today. Wrigley Field:

My daughter got to be the honorary manager at the Quad Cities River Bandits game tonight! Also, it's a beautiful night for baseball.

Well this is pretty cool.

Not a bad way to spend a Saturday.

Day 9: If the Professor had never discovered time travel in BLUE SKIES and FROM NOW ON, I guess it would be better for Eddie. But it would be a lot worse for all of the rest of us. #TimeTravelAuthors

A couple of months ago, I wrote a short bedtime story for my daughter to discover on a school camping trip. Today, I discovered that she's taped the story up on the wall in her bedroom. And that's my favorite review ever.

I wrote this as a reminder but it accidentally became a poem.

I figured out how to make a story work this morning and I wrote this note to help me remember, but it's a total spoiler so I'm going to need you to forget you ever saw this.
