There's a monument to Benedict Arnold in Saratoga National Historical Park commemorating his service in the Battles of Saratoga when he was a Major in the Continental Army. It doesn't have his name because it was put up after he defected. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boot_Mo...
Well that's an interesting link to see. I think somebody may have jumped the gun.
Fun with AM radio in Massachusetts. I was just picking up the 1kW station CHRN which is in Montréal, Quebéc.
My heart is overflowing right now. I was stopped at a traffic light and a random person in the lane next to me waved at me and gave me this.
I made the mistake of looking at VCRs on eBay for fun. Now I'm going down the rabbit hole of different brands and model numbers that are all slight variations of the Philco my parents bought in the mid 80s. Matsushita made them, and every time I think I've found every version I seem to find another.
Pour one out for the former Toys 'R' Us where I bought a lot of My Little Pony toys. This one had a lot more stuff than the one closest to me.
I just saw this bumper sticker on a car parked next to mine. I may have laughed out loud.
I've always loved "A Garfield Christmas." When Grandma Arbuckle talks about how she misses her husband I always get choked up.
With the colder weather my cat has decided to spend some time not too far from the baseboard heater.
I never expected @bluebrony.bsky.social to put out a cassette, but here we are! Sweet!
This is the guy who runs the VHS-Decode wiki. He does great work, but something tells me this attitude is a big part of why he has been banned from forums about digitizing video.
Of course the AOpen AX4SG-UN with a Pentium 4 HT 3.20 works fine. I've never been a fan of the Pentium 4, but I need something with an AGP slot. I decided to redo the thermal compound on both the Northbridge and CPU
I finally tried my Asus P5PE-VM motherboard last night, and it won't complete the POST. Looks like another victim of the capacitor plague. Eventually I'll have to do something about it since it's the only Core 2 Duo compatible board I have with an AGP slot.
