Update: see this? Two layers of this, preferably pull-up like a tackle box, but just magnetize-able layer also fine - just, no gaps. Wall to wall hexies with half-wells by the walls. Am I gonna have to teach myself 3D modeling? UGH
Please ignore the sloppiness of the scrawl; the nib on my dip pen is trash right now & needs an overhaul. Also it was like 2am, & there may or may not be a blot on the opposing page bc I closed the journal before the splat dried. Whoops. This does no justice to the fabulous sheening of the ink tho.
For my fellow Starless Sea obsessives, I give you my still-evolving planner cover: (still need to find proper vintage skeleton key, better bee)
3) This is Zelda. I have 4 cats, & I love them all, but this one is the one that crawled directly into the center of my soul & set up shop there, purring & making biscuits. She saves me daily.
I’ll just drop this little thing here for no reason at all (disclaimer: I don’t know what KIND of jets those were and don’t care enough to look it up; the ballpark is sufficient unto the day.)

There is a great series of slides on this at 1st link below; I include the most salient slide & cites here, but note that this source says the 2.5m study took place in Sweden: www.instagram.com/p/DO4qNwdjQy... Swedish study here: jamanetwork.com/journals/jama/fullarticle/2817406
Like...just the jaw comparisons here, nevermind the entire skull size difference - her skull is about as long as his entire torso.
that DOGE Caucus email auto-reply makes clear it’s a do-nothing garbage thing. Absolutely needs the k-pop treatment.
we all have an emotional support dead famous guy and who he is says a lot about you Henson would have been my first choice, but this works. (see also: Robin Williams; Fred Rogers; David Bowie)
my SIL in Canada sent me these & now I wish even more than usual that we were at their place with them.
RIP to the magnificent Dame Maggie Smith, she who made “acerbic” somehow also safe and warm.
I am working on a costuming project, a witchy sort of cottagecore situation, & am extremely on my bullshit about it: the piece will be reversible & the patterned fabric is directional, so if I had cut straps in one piece, either front or back of straps would “read” as upside down. So: I pieced them.
My oldest internet friend just sent me this photo, from the time in…1999? maybe? we went to meet each other IRL for the first time. in VEGAS. Because when you’re that young, you are really stupid, but also sometimes really lucky.
Zelda is reading about the battle of Monte Cassino. Upside down, because she needed a challenge. Apparently.
“EndCitizensUnited” - Y’all need a hard check-before-you-wreck, bc THIS is monumentally unacceptable. How. Very. DARE you?! Instant unsubscribe, but also WOW y’all really think the move is to say “she’ll never make it” in ANY fundraising email? Nevermind as a shame tactic! GTEFOH.
I have to ask - is the entire party TRYING to lose every election this November? Like who decided the move was to lead every solicitation with, ‘look how hard we’re already losing, you should TOTALLY give us money! because…reasons!’
this is Zelda’s sister, Zoe. Zo is…not wise, but she has got excellently pink toe beans. Some of which (not pictured) have black freckles!
Zelda had quite enough of the bullshit the other day and retreated to her witchy little kitty cave.
