Update: see this? Two layers of this, preferably pull-up like a tackle box, but just magnetize-able layer also fine - just, no gaps. Wall to wall hexies with half-wells by the walls. Am I gonna have to teach myself 3D modeling? UGH

Please ignore the sloppiness of the scrawl; the nib on my dip pen is trash right now & needs an overhaul. INK TAX:

Swatch tag of Ferris Wheel Press’ “peppermint drop” fountain pen ink, which is a green ink with red sheen. For my fellow Starless Sea obsessives, I give you my still-evolving planner cover: (still need to find proper vintage skeleton key, better bee)

3) This is Zelda. I have 4 cats, & I love them all, but this one is the one that crawled directly into the center of my soul & set up shop there, purring & making biscuits. She saves me daily.

Brown tabby cat, round and plump and fuzzy, upside down in deep nap on a down duvet of William Morris vining print in soothing blues and greens on cream. Kitty’s little toes are curled just so, & she looks super cozy and peaceful.

my SIL in Canada sent me these & now I wish even more than usual that we were at their place with them.

My sister in law sent this series of 4 photos of the auroras dancing over Lanark, Ontario in Canada. “The skies are just so PINK!” she said; and also “they’re really dancing tonight”. This particular image is heavy on the pinks and reds, with glimmering greens at the tree line visible in silhouette along the bottom.

I am working on a costuming project, a witchy sort of cottagecore situation, & am extremely on my bullshit about it: the piece will be reversible & the patterned fabric is directional, so if I had cut straps in one piece, either front or back of straps would “read” as upside down. So: I pieced them.

A shoulder strap in progress, made with a black-background mushrooms, ferns, and snails-printed cotton fabric piece; it is long and rectangular and the edges have been very sloppily zig-zag stitched, but where the shoulder seam of the pattern piece meets, the fabric is pieced together so that the directional fabric print will be upright from both front and back of the strap.
