I got too busy to have hobbies. Non-work things: LEGO, romancelandia, knitting, Formula 1. Celiac with a keen interest in making desserts and a passable home cook. (she/her)
Kindle is cleaned, button on top in particular needed some de-gunking, now it turns on. Took the opportunity to add to the screensavers. (Mom hated the default ones, which included Alexander Pope, so we hacked it years ago.)
I am not yet so far into houseplants where I’m willing to set up an indoor greenhouse. It’s survival of the fittest in my home. (Plant picture tax)
Mom is having: bread, mustard, ham, cheese, fried egg, honey, butter, bread - then toasted. I’m having a fried bologna sandwich.
My favorite part: rigging this bid so that @tessadare.bsky.social’s Squirrel David finished at 696.90.
I’m watching the bid feed (highly recommended for the raptoring) and I think four new accounts were made to get in on the fun. JOIN US.
I feel really bad for all the people under both the flyovers and also over what looks like the staging area for the flyovers:
I have rented a car so that my parents don’t have to drive an hour round trip to get me from the airport. I *think* he’s joking but I know mom’s worried about his tremors and attention span.
100% recommend the tiny fried mashed potato bites and the spicy mayo. Get the boneless wings.
Second f1 race is going to be a lot like watching it on TV, only with bugs, louder, and no commentary.
We have tried another gluten free bakery. Gluten Free Lab Gula Sana. Deliciously squishy pastries.
Dinner of champions. We are back at Jansana because it was close to another errand and totally on the way from Parc guell back to the hotel.
Also, Julie and I had a Viking Photo Shoot, courtesy of Mink, and I HIGHLY recommend. Especially if you’re a femme presenting manager in STEM. He talked us through presenting our chins as subtle menace.
