Followed mainboard reset instructions and it still takes 3 minutes to start, but now it has to be plugged in at all times or it'll shut down, and even then all it does is play this clip on a loop.
Bought a USC cable on line and it melted my laptop's power adaptor and completely fucked my motherboard BUT it still works! Takes a solid 2-3 minutes to boot and the bluetooth disappeared, but it works!

New rescue milestone: 1st bird rescue! We clocked a very bolshy pigeon w/ tags in the garden. Partner caught it, called the number and the guy who answered was so happy--thought a hawk had gotten him (hazardous stuff, being a racing pigeon) but he'd been blown off course from Wolverhampton.
After careful consideration, we've decided that Titus is already home. Also, Nebula will be going to live with her human's mum and be her grand-creature forever! It's been hard, thank you everyone who shared we're so grateful and lucky to have such a great community.
