Lola LOVES to be groomed. She gets tons of treats and attention, the de-shedding process is functionally the same as getting petted non-stop for 30 min. The cotton swabs in the ears do stress her out though. She feels neutral about the nail trimming (which is a W because I think most dogs hate it?)

The chair of my dept sent me the photo he took at the end of year reception and WOW did ya girl get mogged by the office door 😭 lmfao respect

School of liberal arts end of semester party in the Social Work Department lounge :) my buddy and colleague Tony took this photo of me holding my award lol. Ngl I look like the brimming tears smiling emoji, my hair is scraggly and my eyes are puffy because I had cried 3x that day already. One of those cries happened in the office of a notoriously hard nosed senior faculty in the school of liberal arts - he runs the pre-law program and his research is on post 9/11 legal precedent especially surrounding torture and stuff. Anyway in his capacity as the chair of the faculty handbook committee I needed his help understanding certain sections of the handbook and he was super helpful and very emotionally supportive the whole time. Shout out to Len you’re a real one! Also, bragging on myself a bit, but I was the youngest and most junior faculty member nominated for this award, it was extremely competitive tbh.
