I thought all those Gun Carry Rem memes were just a JOKE until I found this one in the wild. He was very mad about us winning. Imagine calling your team dogshit when you're doing this.

At the edge of a rainy cliff, a river runs off to meet what looks like a sea of basalt and molten rock, immediately turning into a great plume of steam that fills the cavern it's all in. Towards the side of the river, a couple waterwheels and windmills toil under the currents.

An underground cavern of yellowed stone and yellowed sands that stretch as far as the eye can see, with hints of a dust storm in the very back of the tunnel. At the forefront, two sandy craters hold strange, bluish stone(?) formations of unknown purpose and origin, only half-shattered from their fall.
I do not know what these are.

A bizarre, animated contraption, a golem or robot, is charging down a slope towards the right and towards the viewer. It resembles an actuator or generator that sprouted legs and charged, with wires emerging from its innards acting as its face with sparking wires for a "mouth" and luminous lightbulbs as "eyes", all on the hunt.

WTF-tasting dream journal time again

Had another really bizarre dream, and it would've been a pretty intense nightmare if it hadn't been undercut once I woke up and recognized things.
It was about how, wherever we were, one of those winds that get a name thanks to their regularity and intensity had started blowing and blowing hard through the town, and dangerous, grotesque creatures named after that same wind had started roaming in turn, some of them kaiju-sized, some of them "merely" ten feet tall, with variations like that. They roamed, barely visible unless they were aware of you, but they could always be seen on cameras and such. But the only way to banish them so they wouldn't come back was to take a picture of them and burn said picture. At one point, there was a fuckhuge one I was overlooking from what I believe was a hill, and I took a picture with my phone then deleted it, hoping that was close enough, I never found out if it was.
The dream ended when I saw one of them with my own eyes try to break into the house by knocking down the part of the gate where the mailbox was. One of the "smaller" ones, still as tall as the gate itself.

The things that undercut it all when I woke up?
One, the wind was a real wind that happens in this country, so there was recognition
Two, all the creatures just looked like the fucking Mirror Reaper from Ultrakill, and that bit of recognition killed any fear.

Aight, time for the really bizarre dream I just had.

It was about two muppet-esque guys, they walked around and everything, typical one-weird-one-serious duo, with an occasional third that was apparently very wise and clever but also only spoke in gibberish. That one was a green-haired gremlin-guy in contrast to the other two who just looked like cartoon extras made out of felt.
This was apparently a popular show but this was the movie of it, where apparently their antagonist ran a prison or some other kind of facility and managed to grab and imprison the weird one, leaving the normal one to try and find some way to pull him out legally, which he couldn't. Apparently I was catching the second half or tail end of this movie, because this was when the guy got inspired by a poem he read to grab something that would just portal him into the prison directly. And he was all miserable about whether he could pull this off or not, wise gremlin mumbled something, and then he was just like "fuck it we ball."
What followed was a masive 2D animated sequence of a slapstick-as-fuck prison break I wish I remembered more details of, but it was musical, it lasted several minutes and apparently it worked. The duo was back together.
But weird guy wanted to break everyone else out because no one there he knew was there legitimately, it was all false charges. And serious guy was ambivalent about this, but then had an idea, and said idea was to apparently just walk into the prison like they were regular visitors...
And somehow meet old versions of themselves with which to talk about the old times, including the poem, which was apparently written by the old version of weird guy.
And as both pairs converse about this, both versions of wise gremlin then look towards an air vent and mumble at it, and the camera moves backwards into the vent which is full of some weird beige plastic...
And a hand emerges from the plastic and makes an OK sign at them, apparently a reveal.
I have no fucking idea what any of that was about

A great icy expanse, with a single tiny road of polished ice right through the middle of it, and stony towers with pointed copper roofs lining its side from beginning to end, looking smaller as they go thanks to the distance. In the distance stands a truly enormous glacier that dwarfs the towers in question, with a single curved crack right through the middle; the road leads right to this crack, implying there's more beyond this place. Above, a cavern roof of blue stone with lines of icicles where water leaks. At the side, an icy spire and a rope hanging from a stake nailed into said spire, implying the POV has climbed up to this place.

And that's Grim Dawn beaten once more. Diablolikes are funny sometimes. Imagine stacking this many corpses and still getting sent for errands. I know it's a game thing in general but having an actual number puts things in perspective.

Inspired by playing a Chaos/Vitality warlock in Grim Dawn and wondering how that carnage would look

It'd be easy to say this is a blasted, lifeless wasteland, but that would be wrong; only segments, remarkably delineated, would count as blasted and lifeless, with the rest seemingly untouched.
In multiple spots, you find patches of death, the grass merely dead at the edges while finding undisturbed, but utterly dead earth in the middle, feeling like crumbling pumice in your hands. These spots have one or two corpses at most, but they are either utterly mummified or stripped to nothing but cracked bone.
A few spots, less abundant but far bigger, are more uniform. Here, the grass and shrubs are dead, dessicated, and so are the bodies, drained of all blood and other fluid in spite of having no clear cuts or exit wounds.
...elsewhere, things are less clear. There are lines on the ground where grass and earth have been calcified and killed, a cliffside where a perfectly straight line seems to have cracked and crumbled as if by erosion far faster than the rest. On the trees, you find patches of sunbleached wood on otherwise lively trees, and the corpses... some of them have had a whole line of flesh stripped off them bloodlessly, while others, the big ones, seem to have simply been punched through by something that did little more than embrittle their bones, but stripped a perfect circle of flesh right off them, leaving nothing but a cover of ash where the cuts would've been. No scorchmarks, just the ashes. All of this in curving lines all over, as if someone had vandalized the land and its combatants with the reaper's own quill.

An enormous forest of mushrooms and other assorted fungi far bigger than any man, some even hanging from the cavern ceiling far above. In the midst of it all, there is a waystone in the process of getting overgrown, and a small road carved across the mud, somehow unswamped.

Same as the previous, but now with a thick layer of spore-fog, as if you walked in on exactly the wrong season. Hope you don't have asthma.
