My feelings about the Strokes at Coachella are complicated. On one hand, it’s good to share images w/ a receptive, maybe unaware of USA foreign policy history, crowd. On the other hand, when my band opened for them 26 years ago, the Strokes didn’t even put our name on the flyer.

Sorry to hear about Peter Greene. Besides the obvious Pulp Fiction stuff, his opening scene for Justified was a classic. Also, in my cosmology, we do apply extra credit for being a Beauty Bar regular, being generally “around,” and for being a good tipper.
