For various reasons, July has been quite the month. Hoping August restores the laid back atmosphere that I thrive in.

Week 29 then. Groupie reminds me (and my photo app confirms) it was this week last year when we went to Iceland. Thinking of all the fun we had in Reykjavik, Isafjorður, Akueyri & Seydisfjorður (and a short stop off in Torshavn on the way up) Lovely lovely days. 🇮🇸
There are times when I find this all quite overwhelming. Now is such a time. Never mind, tomorrow we start Week 29 of the year and until then, enjoy this picture of a friendly crow.

Webby the spider plant has grown up so well that the windowsill is probably too small a home. So have been clearing space on a sideboard and this shall be Webby’s new home from now on.

They have a special beer dedicated to Sæunn and while we were in Iceland last summer we had some of it. 🍻
I was playing around with AI (yes, I know, I know) and came up with some anime-type shots of me and Groupie. My colleagues at work think this makes me look like some kind of “tech baddie” and I actually want to use this for my annual profile picture refresh across all platforms.

It is #InternationalDayOfYoga today. We know this because we have t-shirts that say so. Groupie does a bit of yoga and she was given them at an event yesterday.

I’ve always thought of Groupie as being like “Björk in glasses”. Imagine my surprise when I learned Björk actually acted in a film playing a woman who was going blind…and of course wore glasses. She looked lovely. Clearly Groupie and Björk are cousins from different families 😊
