I’m such a rule breaker. 😝 Enjoyable family outing to Dracula the Ballet at The Orpheum in San Francisco. The brides were a delight to watch, Dracula entertaining, classical music jukebox, sadly lacking in blood. There must be blood!! Ribbons, fabric, create the illusion. More blood please!

I was pet sitting in San Francisco for almost two weeks. During which time, Scarlet the Corpse Flower decided to make another appearance! Unfortunately, she decided to bloom the night I was headed back home ☹️ But I saw her today- a little tattered & past her prime. I can relate. #CorpseFlower

That time my bath bomb looked like a goldfish.

A bath bomb is fizzing in a tub of water. The water is multi shades of blue. In the center is a gold/copper coloring fizzing resembling the shape of fantail goldfish. & a large bubble at center looks like the fish’s eye.

The park workers were busy at Mountain Lake today. This pair of waders was just lying there. As I walked towards the workers I said, “Oh there you are, for a second I thought someone got raptured!” One guy looked at me quizzically & then totally lost i! 😂😂😂😂

Hello to my favorite Angel’s Trumpet! You toxic beauty you! It is absolutely covered in blooms right now. Since the sun is out a bit today, the scent is releasing quite nicely. Standing below it is intoxicating! Figuratively speaking of course. #PoisonGarden

Mental health walk at Mountain Lake Park in San Francisco. A little gem of a place. These Monterey Cypress trees are quite towering & the ravens love them. Nice bit of sunshine for an hour or two.

So adorable! My girl back home- Belinda. She’s a terrier/chi mix (I think) less shaky in general but all attitude, all the time. Has no idea she is small. The indignation about being used as a pillow by my Siamese cat Lucifer Sam is evident.

One more before I attempt sleeping again. The Etruscans exhibit at Legion of Honor in San Francisco is a must see. Incredible objects from a civilization I realized I know little about. Going to fix that.

Since I can’t sleep right now, here’s some random stuff from the last few days. Saw Witch Club Satan - a Norwegian Black Metal trio. Running Black Metal through a feminist blender was fantastic! They inspired me to make this little talisman necklace to wear to the show.

Out at Ocean Beach yesterday & it was rather intense looking even from a safe distance. Surprised by the number of surfers out there too. Oh and an apparently sick sea lion. Poor thing- saw a Marine Mammal Center person there so hopefully it got some help. And people, be careful out there!
