You are correct, the article does accurately report the story! It’s just the Pentagon memo that is very alarmist in its first paragraph. My post is mostly for those people who only read headlines and not the article.
In an previous attempt I tried to find it using the subway station name, but failed. (The railings are NYCity subway railings!) Doing google reverse image search however yields an immediate result (boring!) But now I can provide an image from 2007 as well :))
<3 minute solve :)) Most restaurant/cafe names are not readable, except for the far left "Poissonnerie ... la place". The image also seems to be in france, likely southern france Google maps search for the restaurant name, shows one result in southern france.. which is the solution :)
