I know it's a losing battle, and that the actual answer has to be improved rights for digital purchases, but I'm still going to support physical for as long as I can
Don't look at this unless you know who the seventh party member of the first Xenoblade is I know in my heart of hearts she's saying "Got a bonus" but that is **NOT** what I hear
Green is day one, blue is getting later (around Christmas mostly), red is maybe Is it new Xenoblade yet?

Stop scrolling and post two characters/duos who bring you happiness
Just looked it up to remind myself and ooooohhhhh yeeeeeaaaaaahhhhhh it's super long and it's where *THESE* guys get introduced Pain and suffering
"Console exclusive" basically just means NOT on a rival console, allowing the many games Sony has ported to PC. Needless to say, not a single Nintendo game appears here, whereas many Sony games do. This is where the bulk of Sonys first party output ended up
Next, we go into cross gen exclusives, that is, games exclusive to an ecosystem (Switch and Switch 2 or PS4 and PS5). Games like Metroid Prime 4 or Gran Turismo 7. Note, free upgrades to Switch games don't count. Not too many Sony games here. That's where we turn to...
I also included games currently announced for these platforms. Already, the Switch 2 has 1 more currently released "true exclusive" than PS5, with the same number of first party announced titles, but obviously that doesn't tell the whole story. Was surprised to see the scores averaged near the same!
Post some of your favorite female video game characters for International Woman's Day Mix of old(er) and new favorites
9 games that made me who I am! Not necessarily my favorites, but ones which were important to developing who I became as a player, or even a person. Each one special and important in a different way. Not ordered my9games.com
March #promosky Zero here, would love more people to get to know! - Nintendo (like, most of what they put out) - Sonic - Ace Attorney - Yakuza - Kingdom Hearts - Remedy - RPGs - Action Adventure - Platformers 18+ pls, and DNI if you like the American government Games I'm looking forward to:
#5 Pipistrello and the Cursed Yoyo Overlooked indie gem from last year. Whole lot of Game Boy Zelda mixed with some metroidvania and others make for an excellent platform action adventure with excellent music and a great art style. There's a demo on all platforms, can not recommend enough
#4 Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 Bit late on this one, but wow, it took no time at all for me to see where all the love and accolades came from. Incredible characters with an impactful story, superb audiovisuals, and engaging combat. There are a few rough edges, but it's got tons of heart
Haul from a gift certificate I got over Christmas to a comic book store. Yes I'm almost 30 why do you ask?
Unfortunate. Scores aren't everything of course, but the reviews themselves seem to paint the game as fairly middling, both as a metroidvania and as a God of War, and the former in particular is pretty damning given how many truly excellent genre entries there are for cheaper. Think I'll pass
#3 No Sleep for Kaname Date from - AI: The Somnium Files Definitely shorter than the other two with a much simpler story, and I don't think I absolutely adored the escape room gameplay, but hey, reminded me how much I enjoy Kaname Date as the lead, so I'm content
So much of this video is predicated on the idea that the Switch 2 seems to have fallen off of a cliff post launch thanks to numbers posted around November sales data but according to the Senior Director of Circana:
#2 Pokemon Legends: Z-A The first Pokemon game I've felt broadly satisfied playing since Sun. Some aspects of the combat definitely needed some refining and yes, some parts of the game still feel pretty damn cheap, but the gameplay's fun while the story and characters got me invested
Probably the last game I spend money on for a lil while, but hey, when you're stubborn about wanting a physical, and can get it down from $40 to ~$24, you take it
#1 Metroid Prime 4: Beyond A good game, but you can feel that this was someone else's vision that Retro had to salvage. Despite all the dev time, undercooked is the word that comes to mind. The new stuff is cool on paper, underutilized in practice. Looks, sounds, and plays great tho.
Happy New Year to people, and here's hoping it's a kind one Here's all the games I played this year, cuz why not Italics denote a replay
Had a $10 Best Buy certificate so why not If you had told me a year ago that the way Nintendo has physical games on Switch 2 release would make me buy an og Switch version of a cross gen game...okay it's Nintendo, I wouldn't have been THAT surprised, but still
