I think in the end I'll always deep down prefer Rare DK. That to me just IS DK, and the DK I grew up loving. He was around long before I was born, and letting go of him has been oddly difficult. I do like new DK. I like how expressive he is, but this guy will probably always be my goat.

It's shown me that the two designs have their own strengths, and there's just something about how New DK looks in old renders that feels OFF. If his own renders he looks fantastic, but in old renders that weren't made with him in mind I just dont think he looks as good in these.

I've said this before but it very much depends on the render. Here specifically? I prefer Rare DK. I actually think that every time they recreate an old render with the new DK that it's looked worse. All of the NEW renders are incredible. Especially this one I love this one.
