Part 2 of Freya's 18th birthday celebrations. We headed off to Port Lympne Animal Reserve today. It was ACE! Freya got to feed a red panda (grapes & sweet potato fyi). Amongst many other things, we also saw camels, lions, gorillas and the amazing rhinos. Roast chicken for tea!

It's our daughter's 18th birthday today. Flippin heck! We've had a barbeque on the beach this evening, and earlier today, we visited a cat cafe. Tomorrow we're off to meet a red panda!

When we were in Annecy last week, we had a brilliant display each evening from the swifts.

Then, we spent a long weekend in Paris. Stayed in a little place called Saint Cloud. We visited all the classics.

Hey gang. Got back from our amazing little holiday this morning. We started off in Annecy in France (pics also on attached post), and had 5 days there. An incredibly beautiful place. The lake is stunning and we went for a swim every day. Also did a 40k cycle ride around it too!

Hey Bluepals, we are in Annecy. It's amazing! Our apartment is 10 mins from Lake Annecy, which is so, so beautiful. Went for a swim in it yesterday. A boat ride and crepes today, and a 40km cycle ride around the lake tomorrow. Pictured is my current read. Spoke to my mum earlier. She says hi!

This afternoon I went to an open meeting organised by our local MP Helena Dollimore, to discuss how to spend £12.5 million that Hastings got from the government's Pride in Place initiative. Brilliant turnout & overall a really positive experience. I came away quite optimistic. Imagine that!?

The kids bought me two bags of fudge for Father's Day. One a S'mores Fudge and the other a Salted Caramel one. Can confirm that both work very nicely if you're a fan of eating yummy stuff. They also found a cheese related card. We have roast chicken for tea too! What a day!
