We officially closed our All Hands Meeting by reflecting on the outcomes of yesterday’s cross-WP sessions. 🫱🏻🫲🏻 Laura Palomo (REA) and Advisory Board members Mette Lund and Giovanni Strona joined online, sharing valuable feedback that will help shape the next steps of the project. 💡

We discussed the timeline of the stakeholder activities, planned how our project can contribute to future EU policies, and explored the first prototypes of the BMD Biodiversity Explorer. 💻 Check them out and vote for the one you prefer: bmd.lifewatch.eu
During Session 2️⃣, we learned how different technical components connect and how the feedback from the user story workshops will be implemented. Additionally, we also discussed the metadata and machine accountability and what role they play in the user story components.
Day 2️⃣ begins with a session led by Julian Oeser from @ufz.de. Partners discussed the main challenges for the development of BMD’s Biodiversity Analysis Tools, such as alignment with stakeholders and different teams and integration with data processing infrastructure. #BMDmeets26
🤝 BMD’s coordinator Niels Raes closed Day 1️⃣ with an overview of the results from the work done in the first year of our project, and a look ahead to what's coming up.
