A new @seattletimes-rss.bsky.social report is out: yet another very small tax on Washington’s wealthiest residents has blown past economists’ wildest revenue dreams — meaning the rich are either a) not leaving, or b) way richer than anyone knew & getting more so every day, or c) all of the above. 🧐

With today’s amazing volunteer crew, we’re very nearly at ✨1,400✨ signatures gathered! We have almost hit our goal of DOUBLE the number of signatures we need to waive the fee, to make sure that even with attrition we’ll have enough to hit the mark. This is people-power!!!
