CO Secretary of State Candidate for Attorney General Join us: JenaforColorado.com
Trump is a highly unpopular president so he is growing more extreme, and his administration is going with him. But his efforts to undermine the 2026 elections will not work, and we're going to continue to hold the line.
I was proud to attend the Colorado Lawyers Committee Board Meeting for an important conversation about protecting the freedom to vote and ensuring safe, secure, and fair elections.
Trump will continue trying to exert power he doesn't have, to affect elections he doesn't control, to disenfranchise the American people who he doesn’t care about. He is laying the groundwork to undermine the 2026 Midterms – and we will stop him.
Trump just forced the three remaining Election Assistance Commission commissioners out of their jobs after he didn't get his way. He is an unpopular president, and is growing more and more extreme by the day. Americans should show up and make their voices heard this November.
Trump continues to attack American elections with his attempted federal overreach and his repeated lies. But it won't work -- election officials and Americans will continue to hold the line.
I’m proud to be endorsed by the @workingfamiliesco.bsky.social @workingfamilies.org Working families are the backbone of Colorado - and they deserve an Attorney General who will fight for them every single day.
Last week, I was proud to join Democratic candidates and leaders from across Colorado at a unity event focused on the work ahead. Because we move forward together. Colorado is facing serious challenges - from lowering costs, keeping communities safe, and standing up to Trump’s attacks on our state.
I am honored to be the Democratic nominee for Colorado Attorney General! Thank you to my family, our incredible staff, the volunteers, and thousands of grassroots supporters across our state.
Today is Election Day, Colorado! Make your voice heard by returning your ballot to a drop box or voting center, or voting in-person, by 7 PM tonight.
Team Jena was honored to march alongside so many Coloradans celebrating love, visibility, and the power of showing up for each other at Denver Pride! We know the fight for equality is not over. I’ll never stop fighting to defend our freedoms and build a state where everyone belongs. Happy Pride! 🏳️🌈
We had so much fun at Denver Pride this weekend! Thank you to the organizers, everyone who walked in the parade with us, and all who showed up to celebrate PRIDE!
When Trump and election deniers attacked our democracy, I stepped up. As Colorado Secretary of State, I’ve fought to protect our elections, despite facing threats for standing up to MAGA. Watch the ad and vote Jena Griswold for Attorney General in the Democratic Primary Election by June 30!
Since the day he took office again, Trump has attacked our elections and democracy. The good news is that Trump is largely losing. We will continue to fight to protect our elections.
I was so glad to join One Colorado for the Pink Party and celebrate the leaders, advocates, and community members fighting every day for LGBTQ+ equality.
So grateful to everyone who joined us yesterday for such an incredible event with Jane Fonda. We were thrilled to see such a strong turnout and so much energy around the fight for justice.
Yesterday a federal court enjoined major provisions of Trump’s unconstitutional and unlawful executive order on mail ballots. Trump won't be able to use the Postal Service to control who receives a ballot. This is great news for American democracy.
Breaking: Court enjoins much of Trump's unconstitutional executive order on mail ballots!
No voter should have to fear intimidation at the polls. It’s illegal for federal law enforcement to interfere with the administration of American elections. States are fighting back against Trump’s threats to the vote, and we will prevail.
Granting clemency to Tina Peters is a gross injustice to our elections, election workers, and democracy, with far reaching consequences.
Thank you to the Foothills Democracy Defenders for hosting us last weekend & asking thoughtful, important questions. At a time when our rights, freedoms, & elections are under attack, I’m grateful for Coloradans who continue to show up, speak out, and fight for the future of our state and country!
You asked: What would I do if the federal government violates Coloradans’ rights? My answer is simple: I’ll fight back. Colorado needs an AG who will protect our rights, our freedoms, and the rule of law.
Since taking office again, Trump has prioritized trying to collect information on American voters. It started with the DOJ’s demands for sensitive voter data - which I refused to hand over. Now, states are fighting Trump’s unlawful Executive Order and the Postal Service rulemaking on mail ballots.
Grateful for a very inspiring two days on the Western Slope! From events in Grand Junction & Edwards, a town hall w/ Western CO Alliance, & having the honor of delivering the keynote at the Mesa County Dems Dinner, it was great to hear from Western Slope Coloradans about the issues impacting them.
Trump is laying the groundwork for not accepting the results of the 2026 Midterms if they don’t go his way. We will fight against any attempt to suppress the vote or attack our elections.
Trump wants to control who can and can't cast a ballot in American elections. His plans will not work.
Colorado needs an AG strong enough to fight for what’s right - that means taking on the status quo. It means protecting our air, water, land, climate, rights, freedoms, and communities. As AG, I will fight for working people, hold corporate polluters accountable, & protect the Colorado we love.
You asked: As Attorney General, what will I do about working families being squeezed right now? I’ll take on fraud and scams, protect workers, and stand up for the Coloradans who are working hard but still struggling to get ahead.

I enjoyed joining Democrats from across Colorado for the Attorney General Forum, hosted by the Colorado Democratic Party as part of the 3rd Annual DemFest!
Granting clemency to Tina Peters was a great injustice to Colorado, our democracy, and election workers all across this country. Instead of showing any remorse, she went straight from prison to Steve Bannon’s show to fuel the same election conspiracies.
