Trump will continue trying to exert power he doesn't have, to affect elections he doesn't control, to disenfranchise the American people who he doesn’t care about. He is laying the groundwork to undermine the 2026 Midterms – and we will stop him.

Trump just forced the three remaining Election Assistance Commission commissioners out of their jobs after he didn't get his way. He is an unpopular president, and is growing more and more extreme by the day. Americans should show up and make their voices heard this November.

Trump continues to attack American elections with his attempted federal overreach and his repeated lies. But it won't work -- election officials and Americans will continue to hold the line.

Yesterday a federal court enjoined major provisions of Trump’s unconstitutional and unlawful executive order on mail ballots. Trump won't be able to use the Postal Service to control who receives a ballot. This is great news for American democracy.

No voter should have to fear intimidation at the polls. It’s illegal for federal law enforcement to interfere with the administration of American elections. States are fighting back against Trump’s threats to the vote, and we will prevail.

Granting clemency to Tina Peters is a gross injustice to our elections, election workers, and democracy, with far reaching consequences.

You asked: What would I do if the federal government violates Coloradans’ rights? My answer is simple: I’ll fight back. Colorado needs an AG who will protect our rights, our freedoms, and the rule of law.

Since taking office again, Trump has prioritized trying to collect information on American voters. It started with the DOJ’s demands for sensitive voter data - which I refused to hand over. Now, states are fighting Trump’s unlawful Executive Order and the Postal Service rulemaking on mail ballots.

Grateful for a very inspiring two days on the Western Slope! From events in Grand Junction & Edwards, a town hall w/ Western CO Alliance, & having the honor of delivering the keynote at the Mesa County Dems Dinner, it was great to hear from Western Slope Coloradans about the issues impacting them.
