I made a wonderful discovery: I've been listening to a bunch of techno CDs I got a while ago, and I somehow didn't notice that one of them has one of my favorite remixes EVER on it! I first heard it on a Speed Racer VHS when I was little, and it's still an absolute banger. EXCELLENT sample use.

I've always been terrified of trying a head turn. 360 heads are always SO difficult. I was worried that I wouldn't be able to do this, but it went REALLY well. I'm pretty dang proud of the results. It's simple, but I think it has a lot of personality. The blink adds a lot. ^_^

Perspective is REALLY tricky. I don't think this one turned out too good, but it was still good practice to attempt it. Obviously I kept it simple, I didn't want to try animating a whole body right away. If I get this down, I can finally animate toons absolutely GETTING you POV

Something I've never really tried before is perspective animation. I'm still wrapping my brain around it, but I think this simple test went rather well. Nothing crazy, but it's neat~

I started animating again! I've been easing myself back into it by relearning the basics. I'm watching the video version of the Animator's Survival Kit, and replicating any tests that I think would be good for practice. I started with a simple ball bounce so I could learn CSP's animation interface
