Getting some #cargobike maintenance done today.

So... we requested the city install a bike rack and got... #cargobike

So I gave my VelloBike #cargobike to my boy. A big upgrade from his I-SY and not bad for a 12yo. We swapped out my panniers for his, adjusted the seat and handlebar height, added new folding floorboards and a Bosch 725 power pack. He has no idea how spoiled he is 🥰

I could'nt help myself. Framset ordered. Gonna build this one from the ground up. CYC Photon Gen2 motor, DT Swiss rims, a combo of Wolf Creek and Chris King components, either a 3X3 or Rohloff rear hub, Infinite batteries, etc, etc. Estimated 8-12 weeks for the frame to arrive. 😭 #cargobike

So my Infinite batteries didn't work out on my Load cargobike. The software just wouldn't jive with it. I've ordered the parts necessary to use them on my next build. Here, I've toned down the silver paint to a battleship gray that will match better on the new cargobike. Standby for the new build.

So I was able to fill most of the gap left by the original power cable with a piece of hose. I then used black silicon to seal around the hose and hold it in place. I layed down a good bead of silicone around the remaining openings and layed the cover in place. #cargobike
