I’ve found an old note book from 2021 when I did a survey to understand why people choose the games they choose at conventions. 40 plus people participated, rating from 1 -5.

Very much enjoyed Rolling in The Ruins - @breakfastruins.bsky.social organised a fantastic day. I ran Corum - Stormbringer in the morning and played Hot War in the afternoon. Had a really good corned beef pie. I wish I’d stayed over. Looking forward to the next one.
Years of @evilgaz.bsky.social telling me “play Hot War!”, I’ve done it! With @malcolmcraig.bsky.social as GM no less. Very atmospheric post-apocalyptic setting.The touchstones & framing works really well. We wove a satisfying tale of petty rivalry,Moorcock, Bradford and an explosive, sleeper virus.

Excellent game of Call of Cthulhu this morning. A charity session from @chaosium.bsky.social at #ukgamesexpo made up of mainly new players who got quickly into character. Paul Fricker has a terrifying Innsmouth look that sent a shiver down my spine. Drool. Dribble. Eye-swivel.
Having a great time at UK Games Expo so far. Meeting up with old friends and new. The games I’ve played have been great!
