The Book of Constellations: I wrote this story to talk about many injustices. I included a trans character because trans people are still facing oppression and hate 4 years after I wrote this. The US govt has gutted health care for them. Kansas just invalidated their driver's licenses. The White House calls them terrorists. They face assault, abuse, and discrimination for simply existing. One day I hope trans issues won't be controversial, but that is not today. I didn't force this issue into the story. I chose it.
