Tonight’s event begins with Paul Ramsbottom, chief exec of the Wolfson Foundation, welcoming guests. The #WolfsonHistoryPrize, run by the Wolfson Foundation, awards £5,000 to each shortlisted author and £50,000 to the overall winner.
