Omg AI has blasted its way through the stationary/craft/scrapbooking world. Wanted to get some cute Washi tape as a present. Trying to find a non-AI design is proving hours of work. Behold the unique Daisy-cum-lily plant 🙄 ARGHGHGH I can not bring myself to buy this!!

This is my mum on her FB page. She's 81, and the WI is the highlight of her month. She goes to the town one and a local village one. I know this is huge sacrifice for her. I love her so much and I am so proud of her.

I may have COVID, but I have some beautiful beautiful friends. I have had fleeting doorstep visits to deliver homemade soup, special teas, apple pie, bunches of flowers, chocolate, cake, more chocolate, and supermarket supplies. I am so touched 🥲❤️

Hello. It me. October 7th is World Trigeminal Neuralgia Awareness Day. 6+ years and counting. It's a life changing illness. There is no cure. Facial pain falls down the cracks between diciplines. It's recognised as one of the worst pains in medicine. #ShowTN3Fingers #FaceofTN #TrigeminalNeuralgia

Why not have 3 facial pain conditions for the price of 2! After MRI, both consultants agree that it's Idiopathic Trigeminal Neuralgia. I am so torn. I am honestly relieved that I do not have to have brain surgery, however, I am GUTTED that there is no 'fix'. It can only be managed. I need wine.

Yep, here are some of the 300+ my great great grandparents wrote each other in the 1880s, most of which are from a single year. They didn't keep it clean either! 😳 ❤️‍🔥

Several piles of about 100 old letters laid out in a grid of 9 stacks. They were written by Fred Shepard and Jane Warburton mostly in 1882. They are written in slanted copperplate writing on white, crea, and occassionaly pink or blue paper.

I noticed the light had changed today, we are roughly half way between the summer solstice and the Autumn equinox, the first burnt leaves are showing in the trees. It's been ages since I picked up a brush. Here's an oldy.

So today is 6 years since TN. I almost gave up going to the Printhaus open evening to come home coz face was flaring. But given the date I was feeling so bloody minded. And I went and met some lovely people. I did my first ever letter press printing. I'm so glad I went.

Today marks 6 years of having Trigeminal Neuralgia. I have been in pain for the last 2000+ days. New MRI next week. The watercolour below was my homage to 'The Little Prince' which I think I painted after diagnoses. "It is such a mysterious place, the land of tears.” ― Antoine de Saint-Exupéry

I went to the TNA Trigeminal Neuralgia Association annual conference in Cardiff. It was an emotional day. Won some fizz in the raffle. Feel v educated, now have a game plan for better treatment. Thank you so much to @josiehenley.bsky.social who came with me for support. Meant the absolute world.
