I read DC comics from about age 9-14 religiously. Picked up Absolute Batman b/c the buzz had me curious, and holy shit, it sucked out loud. Absolute Trash. Like Spider-Man 2099, but dumber. What am I missing, because this was a complete waste of time and money. Just a lame else worlds books.
Picked this up on a whim recently while buying other cards from a seller on eBay. This was the first GPK I ever pulled from a pack.
Came to the comments hoping to avoid a Google search. No luck, so here it is for the next person who does.
Bulletin board in my office timwallach.blogspot.com/2026/06/bull...
Picked up another one of these ‘61 Fleer cards. Have always had a soft spot for these. As a kid they were some of my favorite cards in what survived of my father’s collection, and have been slowly filling out the set over the years.
Picked up a ‘63 Lou Brock. Little off-centered, but I like having a card of him with the Cubs.
Filled out an All-Star game ballot. I doubt Sterlin Thompson makes the finalist for outfield, but I did my part.
If the playoffs started today, would Seattle be the 1 or 3 seed in the wild card round under this current “nba, half the league makes the playoffs” set up mlb is using?
Finally added “Mirror Ball” to my vinyl collection! @pearljam.com
My favorite Albuquerque Isotope just called up to the majors! Couldn’t be happier for Sterlin Thompson, great player and a great guy.
Exciting new addition to my collection, a 1957 Frank Robinson rookie card.
1992 Bowman “USA” no foil error timwallach.blogspot.com/2026/04/2011...
His grandson, Orbit, is currently the mascot for the Albuquerque Isotopes, AAA affiliate of the Rockies.
If I came across a genie’s lamp, I would spend a wish on Syracuse returning to The Big East and then just waste the other two on something silly.
Absolute maniacs running things over at the Sun Belt league office.
Chad Wallach is with the Sacramento A’s this spring. Hope he makes the roster.
Wallach collection sat at 36,324 cards at the end of 2025. Here’s all the rest of the numbers timwallach.blogspot.com/2026/01/2025...
