The #heatwave is making the London Plane trees on my block shed bark like crazy. It's especially on the southward (sun-facing) sides. One tree in particular looks like its bark exploded! Bark everywhere!

Yes. That's a rule change from a number of years ago. It would have been more egregious because Alvarez wasn't close to 2B. The rule is intended for player safety.

The last blisters from the midge bites I got in Scotland last month have finally peeled off. Now, only a month or so until the skin heals. Joy!! OK. Not joy. The bites itch and they're ugly AF. I got some great photos in Scotland, but I question if it was worth this pain and aggravation.
