Sitting on my carport's stoop drinking warm floral herbal tea and watching the clouds float by while Joe Hisaishi's "One Summer's Day" plays on my phone just loud enough so that it doesn't drowned out the birds. It was peaceful, till my youngest two came out here to splash barefoot in the puddles.

Across from the viewer in the bottom left corner is a white house with a blue roof. On the right-hand side stands a red brick wall and chimney. But in-between the space is shades of green foliage that rises up to a sloped tree-covered mountain ridge. The lighting is gloomy due to light rainfall, and white wisps of cloud steadily move along the mountainside. Birdsong fills the air, and pairs nicely with the soft pitter-patter of rain dropping against mud and vinyl materials. The air is humid but not miserably so, and warm enough for summer clothing.

That one desire turned into 240,710 words stringing together all the main quests in Western Skyrim, Rivenspire, and the Reach plus some side quests into an actual three-act story. So no matter what happens to ESO, the characters, stories, locations and game mechanics the team built will live on.

Fired up the #xbox and was greeted by this beautiful thumbnail for the #MayTheFourth #StarWars games sale. 🥹 It was so nice to see Merrin, Kay, Nix, ND-5, and Iden Versio included, and featured both the Mantis and the Trailblazer. Also cool to see the main leads from the two upcoming games as well!

In the foreground is an "I Voted in Botetourt County" sticker. In the background is a sign saying "Vote YES by April 21st to stop the MAGA power grab." This is a vote to temporarily change the congressional districts in order to have more Democratic representatives until 2030 to counteract Republican controled states gerrymandering their districts in the hopes of surpressing Blue votes. So far the results in Virgina have been neck and neck.

I've never gotten an Inkstone book before. It's lovely! I need all books to have a protective sleeve cover. #StarWarsOutlaws #LowRedMoon

On the front of the hardback Inkstone copy is a golden depiction of the galaxy's sexiest droid, ND-5.

The Inkstone version (left) has spray painted edges of a masked Pyke, Jabba the Hutt, and Qi'ra.

On the left is the Inkstone version stating it this is one out of 750 copies. It also has the author's signature and the "Based on" text has it's own page. The publisher is also listed as Del Rey on the Inkstone copy rather than Random House Worlds like on the standard.

Dreamed I was standing on a rocky beach watching icebergs float by when I heared a meow that sounded like "hello". Out of nowhere my cat Taos appears and comes trotting toward me. I pick him up and start crying and tell him how happy I am I found him. Then I woke up. He's been gone for 3 years.

And Mike, seeing as you're a Mass Effect fan, if Lucasfilm or Random House Worlds ever asks you to write a Kay,Nix, & ND-5 novel in the future, I'm gonna request you find a way to squeeze in a calibrations joke. I would be forever grateful.

Done. And I can't recommend it enough. It's a great stand alone story, but there were several moments in the book that just enhanced the emotional beats of #StarWarsOutlaws for me. @mikechenwriter.bsky.social did a wonderful job writing both a fun adventure and further fleshing out ND-5.

The contents of a 3oz can of Blue Buffalo wet pate cat food, perfectly extracted via suction to the dish, topped with two Cosaquin join chews - arranged in such a way that makes them look like the spots in a Yin-Yang symbol due to the strange curve imprinted by the can itself.

Star Wars Outlaws: Low Red Moon releases in 26 days. Which means I have to some how read 1,076 pages worth of Mass Effect Andromeda lore in that time frame. No pressure or anything 🫣. (Though if I manage to pull this off then little kid me who hated to read will be very impressed!)

From right to left are the Tie-in lore novels for Bioware's 2017 game Mass Effect Andromeda. First in the series is "Nexus Uprising" by Jason M Hough & K.C. Alexander (the cover is of a woman wearing a space suit with a spaceship in the background). The second in the series is "Initiation" by N.K. Jemisin & Mac Walters (the cover has one of the game's companions, Cora, on the front with the spaceship she's on in the background). The third in the series is "Annihilation" by Catherynne M Valente (the cover shows a damaged spaceship orbiting a world on fire).
