Kamen Rider Kuuga (Ep16-30) The show gets into a really solid rhythm with Kuuga mastering his powers and using them against the monsters of the week. Introduces a lot for the final arc by expanding more on the lore and characters. Had an ending that made my jaw drop. Great middle of a show

Stankonia: I fully listened to this for the first time while I was studying last night. Insanely solid track list. One of the best hip-hop albums ever made. I can see myself listening to this over and over again, falling in love with it even more

One Piece Season 1: Watched this with @massivemaids.bsky.social Was so good that this made me a OP fan on the spot. This is what happens when all 300+ people on a production team are all putting 110% There wasn't a single character i didnt like. Incredibly easy recommend to even non-anime fans.

Destroying A World That Doesn't Exist: Pretty solid follow up. The environments here were amazing. Leans for more of a surreal atmosphere rather than horror which I think it does well. Does suffer a bit from the eldritch horror directly talking too much.

Kamen Rider Ex-Aid: Arc 3 (25-45) Some of the best television I've seen in my entire life. Has one of my favorite villain redemption arcs ever. Every episode was an absolute roller coaster of emotions right until the end. Has a lot of genuinely beautiful scenes. Sticks the landing perfectly

Kamen Rider Ex-Aid: Arc 2 (12-24) Just as amazing as the first batch of episodes. Explains a lot of questions about the show's verse in a lot of cool ways. Also lets the rivals start their character arcs, fleshing them out really well. Continues the story in a satisfying way while being fast paced.

Resident Evil: Apocalypse Actual garbage. Mind meltingly bad editing. Every character sucks. Feels 3x longer than it actually was. Somehow made the climax, the mc boxing Nemesis, completely unfun to watch. When someone is talking about mindless action movie trash, this is what they're talking about.

Resident Evil (2002) Watched this with @strongshadow.bsky.social and friends for his birthday. Decent horror/action thing. Weak characters with only two I liked. The AI villain has no sauce. We watched a finnish VHS rip of it on the internet archive, the format tricked me into liking the movie more.

Kamen Rider Ex-Aid (Ep 1-15) Insanely fast pace compared to Kuuga. Has an amazing cast paired with fun and energetic fights. Me and @massivemaids.bsky.social were yelling at the screen every episode. Has a perfect balance between camp and serious moments. Everything a superhero show should try to be

Omelet You Cook Really fun evolution of that Balatro-type of gameplay with the added challenge of making it all fit on an omelet. Every one of the 150+ ingredients are well designed. That along with the risk reward of different food modifiers make this one of my favorite rougelikes at the moment

Gratuitous Anime Gimmick(G.A.G.) Really fun ttrpg system that me and @massivemaids.bsky.social are running a campaign for. Rules-light while still being a solid enough foundation for a gm's ideas. Blends roleplaying into the combat to make it super free flowing and unique. Very well designed

Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion Way better than I expected it to be. Solid gameplay mixed with funny writing and an insane story. The puzzles and boss fights are all fun. Great soundtrack. All of this wrapped up in a cute game you could 100% in an afternoon

Protomen Act 3 Takes the focus on character from Act 2's songs and the speed from Act 1's to send the trilogy speeding to its finale. Uses lines and motifs from the previous acts in an immensely satisfying way. Worthy of the 15 year gap between this and Act 2.

Protomen Act 2 Prequel with a more soft/toned down style from Act 1 as it focuses on the characters and world. Offers a deeper look at our cast while setting up how everything fell apart at the start of the story. Still has that same amazing production from before.

Protomen Act 1 All the songs are insanely hype. Uses harsh synths to represent the oppressive setting. The finale, Sons of Fate, is one of my favorite songs ever. Its an impossibly strong start that gets you hooked on the story and the band's style. Couldn't imagine a better introduction

Kamen Rider Kuuga (Ep 1-16) @massivemaids.bsky.social introduced this to me. It's a fun mix of superhero action and a police procedural. All the fights are great and feel like street brawls. Focuses on the human impact of living in a monster of the week verse. Made me a fan of Kamen Rider.

Slay The Spire: The Board Game Completely seamless adaptation from the game. Works perfectly in this new medium. It was so good that someone could be given this and told that the game is based on it. Should be a textbook example of board game design

Binding Of Isaac: 4 Souls Friend had the ultimate collector's edition. I loved seeing all the references and guests artists in the cards. Was a great adaptation of Isaac's "Find insane synergy" loop. Starting was rough as i didn't know how it worked, but I know it'd be way better on a second pass.
