I’m in Vancouver BC. One of my besties just had to evacuate from Boston Bar yesterday. Two wildfires merged over TransCanada Highway 1. These are his photos and a map off the TV.
Bad, bad, bad! Vancouver is not in the Sunshine Coast! They’ve never been here!
I follow a friend’s plan with activities only every 2nd day so there is a day of rest between. I have painful stiffness if seated for more than 3 hours in my mobility scooter. While at home I change body position (walk or lie down) & plan what I need to fetch. I 💗 this low spoon plan! #Myositis
#Scleroderma I have what was thought to be vitiligo but is actually: “Hypopigmentation in scleroderma (a pattern of light & dark spots) is caused by an immune-mediated attack on melanocytes. It commonly affects the face, trunk, & hands.” pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC...
And I want to hear the sweet sounds of the ice cream (ahem champagne 🍾) truck…
You’re funny! This is me after doing ONLY PART of your mighty list!
Appreciate this post very much as there are times I do feel like a little voice in the noisy world. Yet I remember wise words that said if you want someone’s attention don’t yell. Whisper.
You’re so brave & real… I admire this. I use a meme because I have vitiligo and petichae (broken blood vessels) all over my body from EGPA. So I feel shy like a pinto pony …
In Vancouver, there is another week of scheduled games… then at least a week to take down barricades to return the city streets to their regular operations…
These are equally valuable for those of us who are clinically vulnerable & need to isolate. For example, my home is in one of the host cities for FIFA so I chose to isolate rather than risk exposure to viruses from the mass of world 🌎 🌍 citizens whose counties have dubious immunization programs…
You are more than welcome to it as it really sums up the experience quite well. And here’s the “sister meme” it came with… I offer thanks again to @safout1 on Facebook.
Many people are “know-it-alls” while others are selectively deaf IMHO! 💁🏼♀️
After working 50 years & now retired for 5 years, I just don’t do Mondays anymore! 💁🏼♀️
#ChronicIllness Even though I am dealing with persistent (I despise the word “chronic”) and multiple autoimmune diseases, my greatest pain is over the loss of my beloved husband…
That kind of pain and its timing must be scary & worrisome. Have you a good physician you can confide in & who can examine your injury? It could have many causes including torn ligaments (rotator cuff injury)… Sending healing thoughts…
You brave soul! I remember apples 🍏 🍎 before developing OAS… all started with allergic reaction to birch tree pollen…
I hear you… people looking in truly have no idea what we deal with… 🤗
