I wanted it to be Bluetooth, but I didn't have any junk wireless controllers lying around so settled on SNES bc I had a spare PCB with nice big test points to solder. Also I wanted it to work with NES and PC with adapters!
Improving the action of the dpad in this cursed controller by adding a screw and washer to pivot on preventing every direction from being able to be slammed down at once. Have yet to test it
I have a modded Xbox and was looking for a controller for emulators. I got this 3rd party controller given back to me and it had a bad dpad. Swapped in a Xbox 360 dpad but it didn't help at first. I decided to add a shim on the back of the controller from a busted dvd drive. Now it's one of the Best
This is pretty neat. Have this wiimote with face buttons that don't work and I haven't been wanting to take it apart to find out why but the NES classic controller can plug into it and I can still use it that way
I'm trying to use standard power supplies on my retro consoles and getting rid of the proprietary ass the north american SNES has for a power input jack. I had a heap of 9 volt power supplies but decided to keep only 4 and donated the rest. I wasn't thinking about game night having more on at once!!
Oh yea it has yoke buzz and I found out hot glue doesn't work to fix it because the tube gets hot enough to melt it 🤣
Went to thrift to buy dresses and also came home with a laptop that to me looks like from the 90s even if a bit newer. Has Bluetooth,a dvd drive, a floppy drive, a parallel port...I didn't know all these things could have existed at the same time on one thing lol
