I agree. We would have been a great host for the final and we've already proven that. However, if the world cup final was in Mexico, the Estadio BBVA would have easily have been my choice.

I met the author of this book at the Joint Base Lewis McChord PX in April. This book is so much more than surviving Vietnam but surviving the adversity that life throws at you but also celebrating life. I'm so glad my son and I stopped by his table and I picked this one up. #Booksky 📚
Haven't been to church in awhile and don't plan on going in person anytime soon. I watch it on YouTube instead because of an encounter that left me shaking my head. Even if you don't believe, this one has something for everyone. Couldn't recommend this one enough especially now. #Booksky 📚
Just finished Beyond The Mark Ashes of The Hero by Kevin Gallant. This was my first dark fantasy novel that I've read and it was a good story. I like the characters as Victor was my favorite (sorry Flynn). This book did it's job which was to entertain me and help me relax this weekend. #Booksky

Finished reading If I Don't Return by @markhertling.bsky.social. This book touches on so many subjects such as faith, family, culture, and leadership to name a few. I would easily recommend this as there are so many lessons to be absorbed and applied to our own lives. Second to None! 📚💙
Finished States of Grace last night by @sgj.bsky.social. For fans of flash fiction, grab this one as this was such a fun read for me. There are definitely some interesting ones in here like The Joneses and many more. P.S. I had to laugh and just nod my head at the one below. #Booksky
I agree he should have at least been nominated. He's such a versatile actor. He had a very small role in civil war and in my opinion stole the show in his brief appearance.
Just received my signed copy in the mail today. Can't wait to dig in and read this one from my former Brigade Commander at Fort Lewis, WA.
Just finished Black Soldiers, White Laws by John Haymond. This was a well-researched account of the tragic events that occurred on the night of August 23, 1917 in Houston, Texas and the unjust courts martial that took place after. This is a book that I would highly recommend. #Booksky 📚
This is an excellent read and very informative. So informative that I'm making my 13 yr old read this one.
