This depicts a brutal deathrace being conducted in a section of the titular PYROSPHERE, an illegal racetrack built atop the infrastructural steelgrids of the space mining and manufacturing corporation Blazing Iron Metalworks. The track weaves through the mines and different facilities spread across the vast caverns of the volcanic moon of Scoria, in the Tanion star system, in the overarching setting of COLLISION.

Four racers are shown here. Most prominently is DRINK THE GAS IN THE HOUSE OF FIRE, a local disgruntled worker and main architect of the PYROSPHERE, at the forefront. She pilots a BIM-owned industrial mining mech retrofitted for racing, chassis strapped with turbo boosters and treads swapped out for large metal skates.

Behind Drink, avoiding her mining laser and preparing to counterattack with a grenade launcher, is the gutsy airframe pilot CAUSTIC LINDA, supposedly a clone or imitator of the eccentric hazmage ACID. Wonder how she deals with the heat.

Speeding up in third place is the eldritch alien and rogue agent DEIMOS, patiently but deftly maneuvering a sleek, plasma-powered hovermachine. Her motivations are unclear, given she usually isn't too fond of motorsports.

In the background, the unfortunate pilot of a BEAUTIFUL DISC MACHINE is flung up by the panels beneath them erupting in flame. What a way to go.

hi, acid here. skipping the formalities and getting to words n stuff

some music projects that are in the pipeline
- PYROSPHERE LAP II is finished and ready, as soon as i finish its cover art
- followup to CRYOSPHERE that has some house/dance stuff going on
- GNASHING (THAT WHICH LURKS), which actually originated some motifs in Against a Reticent Foe before i finished that first. but as scary 5/4 doom metal
- at least 1 more eventual commission but both me and my client have been procrastinating working/talking about it lmao
- bunch of miscellaneous dnb or ambient projects, some of which i could probably title and put out if i had the drive tbh
- several different themes for EMPEROR MARRUK DOK'LAER (seen on the covers of CONTINUOUS CUTTING MOTION, Scaling the Impenetrable Walls of Castle Morturim, and the even older KNIGHTS OF DRAKENIA) have been in the WIP pipeline for some time now, kinda floundering about to figure out which direction to hone in on. most finished is the one i showed off in that one vid mentioned below
- an old wip remix of Antarctic Reinforcement by DM DOKURO mixed with motifs from some of my tracks related to the region Frosthelm in Azarth
- occasionally chipping at old WIPs i've shown off in past "music recap" vids (which i didn't make a 2025 version of because i overthought and procrastinated too hard and it'd feel awkward now, oops)

there's a few main reasons why my music output's not as fast as it was before, being
- i have a job now (crosswalk guard!), giving me less time to make tunes or art when i could be relaxing playing something. can sometimes balance art with this but music is harder to figure into that, other than commissions. this is the big one
- in 2024 i had a bunch of leftover wips from my learning phase in 2023, so that's why there's so many tracks from then & why they have massive quality differences. also true for a few tracks in 2025 started in '24 respectively
- in '23 and '24 i was a lot more willing to dedicate a lot of my free time to making music, but it feels harder to do lately, mostly for other reasons mentioned & also maybe a momentum thing
- ironically knowing a lot more has cut down on my experimentation, since i understand my tools better and thus don't need to mess with them as much to figure them out
- tomodachi life 2 came out. yeah
- subconscious standards have raised, i'm less prone to just work on something unless i'm really liking it
- lack of input or expressed interest in more stuff from me has made it harder. with that in mind, feel free to encourage me to make more, especially if there's specific stuff or styles you wanna hear more of!
